Our specialty mobile oil processing units provide on-site degasification and vacuum to ensure the highest quality transformer fill. Available across Canada using our MODEF60 transformer oil, CALTRAN C50 Insultaing Oil product, or your preferred oil of choice.
Natural and synthetic ester fluids are used when challenged with fire safety and environmental protection issues. Aevitas is proud to be an approved MIDEL Service Partner. Our technical services team is fully trained and capable of performing in-situ transformer retrofill service throughout our operational area.
Retrofilling is an effective way to reduce PCB contamination. This process involves draining, flushing and refilling the transformer with replacement insulating oil. Have Aevitas supply flush and fill oil or use product of your choice. During the refilling process, the insulating oil is degasified, and vacuum filled.
We provide the expertise and equipment to dismantle large transformers and substations, safely and efficiently, eliminating the need for expensive specialty and heavy hauls in many cases. All oil and metals collected from this process are completely recycled.
Aevitas is Canada’s largest used transformer oil recycling company. PCB contaminated transformer oils are also treated at our facilities in accordance with all relevant regulations to remove PCB’s and finally, rerefined to restore them to the same characteristics as new oil.
Large volumes of used transformer oil from a single customer can be refined in a batch run at our Brantford, ON facility. Lines and tanks are purged to eliminate any potential cross contamination. A large batch of used oil can be refined, tested and loaded back into the delivery truck for return and reuse by the customer.
